Celebrate Recovery is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the 8 priciples found in the beatitudes. Our purpose is to focus on God's healing power through worship, prayer and application of God's Word to our lives. By working the Biblically-based 12 steps and 8 Recovery Principles commonly called the Beatitudes in small groups, we open up, share experiences, find hope and celebrate the ongoing healing being accomplished in our lives.

EVERYONE! Recovery is a life-long, spiritual process. It involves faith in the One & only
Higher Power Jesus Christ, the fellowship of believers, & the application of Biblical,
spiritual principles whereby we become ready to be healed from our hurts, habits, & hang-ups.
Recovery is nothing more & nothing less than being restored to the Image of God!

Recovery Principles:
R.ealize I'm not God
E.arnestly believe that God exist
C.onsciously choose to commit all my life to Christ
O.penly examine and confess my faults to God, myself, and someone I trust
V.oluntarily submit to every change God wants for me
E.valuate all my relationships and offer forgiveness to those who have hurt me and make amends to those I have hurt
R.eserve a daily time with God for self examination, Bible reading and Prayer in order to know God
Y.eild myself to God to be used to bring this good new to others.

God, grant me the serenity
To accept the things I cannot change.
The courage to change the things I can,
And the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
Enjoying one moment at a time;
Accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
Taking as jesus did,
This sinful world as it is,
Not as I would have it;
Trusting that you will make all things right
If I surrender to Your will;
So that I may be reasonably happy in this life
And supremely happy with You forever in the next
Amen
