Angel Food Ministry is a non-profit, non-denominational Christian organization dedicated to providing grocery relief to communities throughout the U.S. The program began in 1994 in Atlanta, GA and now serves 32 states. Angel Food sells by the unit (medium size box) for $30.00. Each month’s menu is different and consists of both frozen and fresh items with an average retail value of $60.00. Generally, one unit of food assists a family of four for about one week or a single senior citizen for almost one month.

Anyone who likes to eat!

Quality of food

There is no second-hand items, damaged, out-dated or dented cans. The food is the same high quality one could purchase at a grocery store or restaurant.

Cost?

A standard box is $30.00. Menus and Specials vary month to month. With the purchase of at least 1 box you can order an unlimited amount of specialty boxes such as steaks, chicken and pork. There is no limit on the number of boxes you can purchase.

Eligibility

Angel Food is available to anyone, regardless of religion, race, gender, economic status, etc. There are no qualifications or applications to complete. Everyone is eligible. You only need to bring a box(s) to carry your food in. There will be a volunteer to carry them to your car.

Payment

Cash, money orders, and food stamps are accepted. Payment is made at the same time you place your order. (Sorry, no personal checks will be accepted).
